Fete fun for North kids

CHILDREN happily scampered across the Swan Hill North Primary School grounds on Friday night, clearly enjoy the school’s first fete for nearly a decade.

With everything from zorb balls and jumping castles to jousting sticks and a 500-strong cake stall, the hundreds of attendees had no problems finding something to carry their interest.

Swan Hill North Primary School principal Campbell McKay said there were about 50 stalls at the fete, with a combination of free activities and fundraising stands.

“There was a fete in 2002 but we as a school haven’t run one for about 10 years,” he said.
