Buller under voluntary administration

BEVERFORD winemaker Buller Wines has been placed under
voluntary administration, with a meeting of creditors scheduled for
Friday.

After months of negotiations between fourth generation family winery
RL Buller & Son Pty Ltd and administrators Deloitte, local grape growers and
others owed money by the company are set to determine its future.

Bullers’
Beverford winery and distillery was established in the early 1950s after the
Buller family began making wine in Rutherglen in 1921.

As one of just two
wine grape processors in the Swan Hill region, the company sources grapes
locally and from other regions, and processes grapes for other brands as well as
its own internationally-sold labels.
