It’s over!

STUDENTS across the region breathed a collective sigh of
relief on Monday morning as the final results of their school careers were
released.

Scored on a bell-curve from <30.00 to 99.95, the Australian
Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) is used as one of the primary requirements for
university admission and VCE students across the state began receiving their
scores from 7am on Monday morning.

“I was up at about five, after not much
sleep at all,” St Mary MacKillop College student Mollie Quin said.

“Right on
seven I logged on to the internet — I just couldn’t wait for the text message
that would come later.”

For Mollie it was good news, as she was one of four St Mary MacKillop College
students who received an ATAR score of above 90 — an exceptional rank.
