A LATE-night ride in the back of a ute for some Swan Hill men has resulted in one being injured and another charged.
Police said two men were travelling in the tray of a utility vehicle travelling on Thurla Street on Sunday at about 1.40am.
Police allege the 19-year-old driver suddenly braked, causing one of the men to be catapulted from the tray to the road resulting in face and leg injuries.
The driver was arrested and charged with reckless driving causing injury, driving in a dangerous manner and exceeding the prescribed alcohol limit.
