A MAJORITY of Swan Hill region primary school students appear
to be improving from years three to five, according to NAPLAN test
results.
The MySchool website shows that when compared with statistically
similar schools, and all schools nation-wide, the district’s students appear to
be making similar or larger gains in reading and numeracy between years three
and five, tested in 2010 and 2012.
According to the website, Swan Hill
Primary School had 540 students and 36.3 equivalent full-time staff (EFT) in
2012, with about 50 Koori students and about 50 from language other than English
backgrounds.
