THE Swan Hill Jockey Club has announced Swan Hill’s Larni
Salathiel as the 2013 DRESemme Face of the Carnival.
The actor, model,
presenter and horse lover will act as an ambassador for the club throughout
the Murray Downs Golf & Country Club Swan Hill June Racing Carnival.
As
part of her role during the June long weekend, Larni will be dressed by her
sponsors and assist in fashions on the field and MC responsibilities.
Now
based in Melbourne, she said it had been a long-term goal to be the ‘face of the
race’.
“I’m pretty excited, I’ve wanted to do it for ever as something in my
home town,” she said.
