Piangil Primary School’s new appointment

IN the continued absence of Piangil Primary School principal
Graeme Brown, a new acting principal has been appointed until the end of
term.

Jeffrey Millard, a former teacher at Quambatook, took over from acting
principal Janene Thompson last Monday.

Mr Millard said he had come to the
school with an open mind, and a focus on his job — to teach the school’s six
students.

“I’ve never been to Piangil so for me Piangil’s a sea change, the
kids are great and the school’s lovely,” he said.

“I look forward to getting
to know people in the community and getting people from the community into the
school.”
