
POLICE have appealed for witnesses following a hit-and-run incident in Swan Hill
on Monday.
According to police reports, a 16-year-old female pedestrian was
hit by a car about 2pm yesterday afternoon while walking in the vicinity of
Makepeace Street, Swan Hill.
The car failed to stop at the scene of the
accident, but was described by the victim as a “red squarish shaped older model
car, possibly similar to that of an XF Falcon”.
She sustained minor injuries
as a result of the incident and was taken to hospital for further assessment.
