It’s carnival time

THE Central Murray Football Netball League’s annual junior carnival is on again on Sunday, June 30.

The carnival will have three divisions, including under 12s, 13s and 14s, with teams coming from Goulburn Campaspe, Sunraysia, Mallee and the CMFNL.

Games start at 9.30am on the showgrounds and Alan Garden Memorial Reserve with presentations set for 3pm.

League manager Scott Wishart said the event was “a great opportunity for junior footballers to show their skills on a big stage, in front of a great crowd”.

“The football on the day is always of a very high standard and we would love to see a great crowd at the carnival to support our junior footballers,” he said.

“The CMFNL would like to thank all of its clubs who do a great job volunteering on the day to assist with the running of the carnival.

Without the assistance of our clubs the carnival would not be able to take place and our junior footballers would miss out on this great opportunity.”
