Errors cause upset for Eagles

THE much anticipated match between Mallee Eagles and Kerang was a spectator’s delight, even though the blustery conditions at times played havoc for both teams.

From the onset, Mallee Eagles players were determined to reverse the round three result, using every opportunity to get scores on the board.

However the Blues were as determined to take home the points, and settled very quickly to task.

Mallee Eagles goalies were under pressure from the onset, and had to work extremely hard for their passes due to the close playing by Kerang defences Katelyn Wright and Chloe Adams.

The overall court play was even early in the game, with the accurate shooting of Kerang goalies Courtney Wright and Tahni Clark advancing the Blues to a five goal advantage late in the first quarter.
