TYNTYNDER could all but sew up a finals berth in tomorrow’s Central Murray Football Netball League A grade match of the round at Nyah on Saturday.
Having had an uncharacteristically tough season, the Bulldogs sit in fifth spot. They’re equal on points with Kerang, but have a significant percentage over the much-improved Blues.
If Tyntynder can get over Nyah Nyah West United, Kerang would realistically have to beat Woorinen to be able to unsettle the Bulldogs in the final round.
Tyntynder takes on Swan Hill in round 18, while the Blues host Balranald.
The Bulldogs will start favourites tomorrow, but Nyah Nyah West should have a good showing.
When the sides met back in round seven, Tyntynder had three wins from five games while United had two from five.
Both sides have had inconsistent seasons ever since but it is Tyntynder that is now poised to scrape into fifth spot.
