Preliminary contests decided

THE Central Murray Football Netball League (CMFNL) junior netball preliminary finalists were decided at courts across the region over the weekend.

After Tyntynder accounted for Swan Hill in the 17 and under grade’s second semi-final, the Swans will take on Kerang at Lalbert next week for the right to challenge the Swans for the premiership.

The Blues beat Koondrook Barham in the first semi-final at Nyah on Sunday.

The 15 and under division will see Tyntynder play Cohuna.

The Bulldogs went down to Woorinen in the second semi-final while the Kangas got up by one goal over Mallee Eagles.

In 15 and under reserves, Cohuna will play Nyah Nyah West United, with the winner to take on Kerang.

The Kangas went down to the Blues, while the Dees proved to be too good for the Bulldogs.

The 13 and under preliminary final will see Kerang take on Swan Hill, after the Blues went down to Lake Boga and the Swans defeated Tyntynder.
