Kinesthetic victory

THE Leon Corstens-trained Kinesthetic was too strong for the seven-horse field in the North West Ag Quambatook Cup last Sunday.

Run over 1600m, the six-year-old gelding was ridden to a comfortable victory by jockey Jake Noonan.

The Bill Cerchi-trained Diamonds at Noon and Darren Weir’s El Divine — ridden by Harry Coffey — finished second and third respectively.

Con Kelly’s Con Thrust was last of all.

The opening race of the day, the Max Wilson Tyres and Batteries three-year-old maiden saw Hugo Drax salute for trainer Jim Conlan.

Darren Weir had the third-place getter with Glockenspiel, while Harry Coffey rode Little Schiller into second.

Race four saw Jane Matheson claim a winner thanks to Jetstyle Express, while Kerang apprentice jockey Jye McNeil won aboard Pretty Possum in race seven.
