Show success

The weekend’s great weather led to people flocking in high numbers to the annual Swan Hill Agricultural and Pastoral Society show.

Running for the 118th consecutive year, organisers of the Show were thrilled to see a 15 per cent increase in gate takings.

Show society president Reg Packer said the event was a great success.

“It’s good to see the people of Swan Hill getting out and supporting their local show,” he said.

“We were very lucky to have two fabulous days of great weather conditions and two fabulous days as far as the crowd attending.”
