SWAN Hill proved too strong for Ultima TUF in the sides’ Swan Hill District Cricket Association one-day encounter at Alan Garden Memorial Reserve on Saturday.

Swan Hill managed 204, with Brenton Foott top-scoring with 52.

Toby O’Grady was UTUF’s best with the ball with figures of 3/32.

In reply, Ultima TUF managed 173 with Andy Abbott knocking up 44.

Brad Cockfield was Swan Hill’s most damaging bowler with 5/27 off five overs.

At Nyah, the home side was toppled by the resurgent St Mary’s Tyntynder.

Matt Heffer and Robin Sebastian claimed seven wickets between them as the home side — still minus Ritchie Boulton — was bowled out for just 86.

St Mary’s Tyntynder bettered Nyah District’s total inside 25 overs for the loss of six wickets.

At Lake Boga, Lakers claimed victory over Tooleybuc Manangatang.

Tooleybuc Manangatang managed 118 off its 40 overs, with Lakers reaching the total in 22 overs for the loss of just two wickets. Matt Smith top-scored with 61.

Woorinen went down at home to RSL.

Batting first, Woorinen were all out for 175.

At 13, Jack Cook took his first A grade wicket and finished the day with 2/40 off five overs, while Duane Bruton claimed three scalps for RSL.

RSL passed the total in the 33rd over losing five wickets, with Bruton top-scoring with 47.

Paul Munro managed 41 not out, while Dwayne Hinton managed 37.
