Bulls sides named

THE Mallee Murray Bulls’ junior representative sides will take to Swan Hill Recreation Reserve for the first training run of the summer at 9am on Sunday.

The Bulls’ under 18s, 16s and 14s squads were announced last week ahead of the upcoming male pathway championships in Melbourne in 2014.

St Mary’s Tyntynder and Lakers will be represented in the under 18s side by young stars Corey Daniels and Matt Smith respectively.

The under 16s has a strong St Mary’s flavour, with Jonty Chaproniere and Brent Daniels to be captain and vice-captain respectively, while Sam Grant (Tooleybuc), Austin McKerrow (St Mary’s) and Joel Walsh (Nyah District) have also been chosen for the squad.

Bailey Codling (Swan Hill), Jack Cook (RSL), Ben Doolan (RSL), Lachlan Edwards (St Mary’s), Callan Noonan (Sea Lake Woomelang) and Josh Wooding (Nyah) form more than half of a Swan Hill District Cricket Association-dominated under 14s side.

The sides comprise players from the Mildura, Swan Hill and Kerang regions.
