JUNIOR Country Week has once again seen Sunraysia Cricket Association’s (SCA) sides flex their muscles in a show of cricketing prowess at Swan Hill.
Sunraysia looks set to once agin dominate the under 14 and 16 competition, as it has in recent years.
Monday’s matches saw Sunraysia too good for Swan Hill District Cricket Association (SHDCA) at both under 14 and under 16 level. Red Cliffs defeated Northern Districts in the under 16s with the result being reversed in the under 14s.
At lunch yesterday, Sunraysia seemed likely to score two further wins, with the association’s under 14 side compiling a record total of 236 and its under 16s bowling Red Cliffs out for 30.
Swan Hill’s sides were sitting out proceedings yesterday before further matches today.
