WHEN the Junior Country Week presentations were made at Swan Hill last Thursday, one local side was left grinning from ear to ear.
The local association’s under 14s were victorious after proving too good for competition from Sunraysia, Red Cliffs and Northern Districts cricket associations, as well as a composite side of association players from Robinvale and Ouyen.
Their winners’ medals and trophies were presented at the showgrounds, as were those of the under 16s, in which Sunraysia — often a force to be reckoned with at Junior Country Week — were dominant.
