PARTS of the Mallee were treated to a spectacular lightning display on Tuesday
night.
Armed with her digital SLR camera and tripod, Waitchie resident Helen
Bennett captured the spectacular site through the lens of her Nikon D90.
“It
was fairly impressive,” Ms Bennett said of the storm which lit up the sky
between Ouyen and Birchip.
“That was the best I’ve seen for a fair
while.
“It was continuous.
“I got lots of photos from it.”
Ms Bennett
described photography as a passion, one which she has immersed herself in ever
since digital photography became popular.
