Bridge survey

WAKOOL Shire Council is asking Murray Downs residents their opinions on a new
bridge over the Murray River.

The Shire is looking for “direction” from
Murray Downs residents, asking their feelings towards the current approved
option 9a as a future Swan Hill-Murray Downs river crossing.

Residents will
receive a survey this week seeking their feedback on the option.

Bridge
option 9a would see a low-level lift-span bridge constructed near the existing
Swan Hill-Murray Downs bridge, then intersecting Riverside Park and the swimming
pool on the Victorian side of the border.
