IN A bid to raise money for breast cancer, two Swan Hill locals, Ash Noble and Kylie Boxall, have changed something about their appearance.
Both have been touched by cancer and wanted to do the most they could to raise money for research into the deadly disease.
On Friday, Ash, had a breast cancer pink ribbon shaved into his hair.
He and his supporters have formed a team of 30 participating in this weekend’s Relay for Life in Mildura. So far they have raised more than $4000, quadrupling their original goal of $1000.
Sweeney Todd hairdresser Kylie Boxall’s went through with her promise to wear no make-up to work on Friday, as reported in The Guardian on Friday.
Her fundraiser goal also quadrupled from $150 to more than $600 as locals made their way to the store to donate money to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
