Swans, Colts draw

SWAN Hill’s Bendigo Amateur Soccer League Round 10 fixtures were played in bright sunshine at Ken Harrison Sporting Complex on Sunday afternoon, with the Italian Festa Cup on the line.

Colts United travelled from Strathfieldsaye for the multicultural round fixture to take on the Swans. For the winner, the prize was fourth spot on the ladder.

A 2-2 draw, however, saw United retain fourth spot, two points ahead of Swan Hill.

Colts started the stronger of the two sides, scoring in the seventh minute via an impressive counter-attack.

The Swans then hit their straps to score in the 27th minute.
