DESPITE a close match with one goal difference, Swan Hill defeated Woorinen in the last home and away game for the season.
It was just one of those games which could have gone either way
Saturday’s match saw them win 39-38.
Being a close game with a few changes in the first three quarters, the result could have gone either way. Coach Madeleine Foott said it could have been anyone’s win as it was “closely contested” from the start.
“It was just one of those games which could have gone either way,” she said.
“One team had the ball right at the end of the game, we were lucky.”
