LOCAL police are in discussions with specialist search and rescue teams in an effort to find a Swan Hill man who has not been seen since September.
Mark Anthony Beames, who also goes by the last name Atkinson, was last seen leaving a relative’s Harrison Crescent home on September 4.
Despite efforts from police to find the 44-year-old no information has been received on his whereabouts.
On Tuesday, they turned their search to an irrigation channel running through Swan Hill that passes near the area Mr Beames was last seen.
State Emergency Service divers searched about two km of the channel between Werril and McCallum streets, but did not find anything to help in their search.
