LIFE and death were separated by a matter of minutes for a local resident found collapsed outside the Nyah Police Station.
Arriving at work on what seemed like an ordinary Monday late last month, First Constable Mal King couldn’t have guessed the unlikely series of events that were to unfold two minutes after starting his shift.
Settling in for several hours in the station, First Cnst King’s day took a sudden turn when a man ran into the station alerting him to a man collapsed on the ground in-front of the station.
“I didn’t believe it at first,” First Cnst King said.
“But I looked out the front and noticed him on the ground, so I rang Triple 0 and went outside and did what I had to do.”
