Stomp your way to grape glory

IF YOU’RE around Swan Hill this weekend you could have the opportunity to stomp your way to glory.

The Swan Hill Food and Wine Festival is on again and, for the first time, it will include a grape stomping competition.

Three heats will be held on Saturday, with the grand final — a great stomp off — to be held at 5pm.

Teams of three are being called for but get in quick: only nine teams can be accepted this time around.

Australian Inland Wine Show president Peter Holt said the grape stomp was a lot of fun for both participants and spectators alike.
