Rising stars shine in Interleague clash

THREE rising stars from the Swan Hill region took a further step in their football careers when they represented Central Victoria on Sunday.

The Bendigo Junior Football League joined forces with neighbouring rivals to take on an outfit from the Barwon region in an Interleague match played in cold conditions in Bendigo.

Woorinen’s Sharni Ferrari, Tenay Fellows and Chelsie Scott took to the field representing the Central Victoria Academy youth girls side, with their Barwon opponents getting up in a tight contest.

Fiona Scott said the game was competitive in difficult conditions.
