POLICE are investigating the suspected arson of Lake Charm’s “pornographic” hay creation.
Affectionately referred to as ’50 Shades of Hay’ by its creators, the sculpture was reduced to ashes around 8pm on Wednesday night — five months after it controversially went up at the front of farmer Bruce Cook’s Murray Valley Highway property.
It soon made headlines around the globe after a disgruntled local resident made a complaint to police, who then requested Mr Cook take down the sculpture of a bull servicing a cow or risk being charged with publishing pornographic images.
