Beep beep! Get down to the car draw tomorrow

ONE lucky local shopper will be handed the keys to a brand new car tomorrow when the grand prize of the Swan Hill Buy Local Campaign is drawn in the CBD.

The eight week campaign comes to a close at noon with the drawing of the Toyota Yaris Ascent at the Community Tree on Campbell Street.

If the lucky winner of the car is present at the draw, they will also walk away with $1000 Swan Hill Dollars.

The Guardian’s sales manager Daniel Priestley encouraged locals to get down to the Community Tree for the draw.

He said thousands of entries had flowed in from each of the 114 participating businesses over the past eight weeks.

“The campaign has been really well received by both businesses and shoppers,” he said.

“Not only did locals get some great deals in their coupon books, they also went in the draw for $1000 Swan Hill Dollars each time they redeemed a coupon and everyone who bought a coupon book got an entry into the car giveaway.”

The Toyota Yaris Ascent hatch auto, worth $19,688, is proudly donated by The Guardian.
