Robinvale’s future in the spotlight

THE Robinvale Community Plan will be back in the spotlight over the next three days as Swan Hill Rural City Council undertakes in-depth consultations.

The three day review aims to gather ideas from locals about how they would like to see Robinvale progress through community projects and events.

Council also hopes to engage a group of local residents to start a Robinvale Community Planning Group.

Council’s community planning officer Chris Rowlands said there will be several different ways that residents can have their voices heard and influence the new Robinvale Community Plan.

“We will have a drop-in centre set up in Perrin Street, so anyone who might just be walking past can drop in any time and have a chat about the community and their ideas for Robinvale’s future.

“There is also a number of free university-quality community seminars scheduled on a variety of topics that are relevant to the Robinvale area and the community plan review process.

“We have also enlisted the help of an award-winning landscape designer to host two workshops to develop a landscape plan for Bromley Road.”

Mr Rowlands added that an information sheet had been sent out to all Robinvale residents with more detail.
