STALWART in the local in the wine industry and now famed Asian exporter Andrew Peace Wines have recently taken out several wine industry awards.

The results for the Australian Inland Wine Show were released last week, and saw the Piangil wine maker win ‘best In class’ for the Swan Hill region with their MasterPeace Rosé.

“It’s a Shiraz Grenache blend, a 2015 vintage,” Andrew Peace Wines sales director Andrew Boothroyd said.

“We won because all the fruit was sourced from the Swan Hill region.”

The rosé is available locally for $13 a bottle from the winery’s cellar door.

Prior to the most recent win, Callum Peace accepted the award for best export in The Governor of Victoria Export Awards.

“It is with thanks and gratitude that the winery has been selected as the winner of this prestigious award,” Andrew peace Wines sales director George Dajczer.

“Many years of hard work has seen the expansion of wine sales during some very hard and tiresome times.”
