SWAN Hill Farmer’s Market kicked off Sunday morning with a bang, much to the delight of local shoppers after a fresh fruit experience.
Hosting 16 stalls, locals turned out in droves looking for a bargain and a great Sunday out, despite the mercury approaching 40.5 degrees.
The markets, set on the picturesque banks of the Murray at Riverside Park will continue on the first Sunday of every month.
Running from 9am until 1pm, the markets will host a variety of fresh produce, plants, and sundries all from local producers.
Stall holders this month included 12 Good Eggs, a local egg producer, Finch Soaps, Sarah’s Petite Treats, Cooper’s Handmade Pies and Roda Fruits — a Lake Boga based citrus and seasonal vegetable grower.
