POLICE have indicated that speed was a likely factor when a truck rolled at the Karinie Street roundabout on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred at 4.45pm and saw the driver, a Swan Hill man in his forties, airlifted to hospital.
“The driver has been flown to Melbourne with a possible broken bone in his neck,” Senior Constable Wayne Cook said.
“The air ambulance flew him out about midnight last night.
“It appears that speed may have been a contributing factor, but that’s yet to be determined.”
