NEW years eve will kick off with a live concert at Riverside Park with loads of entertainment for the whole family according to event organisers.
Craig Harvey, event coordinator, said that this year’s event will be bigger and better than last year.
“We have a host of free activities including laser tag which is a great new addition for teenagers,” he said.
“All the activities are free except for the photo booth.”
Other entertainment for the kids include face painting, balloon art, rock wall, horse and cart rides, pony rides and a jumping castle
On the music front, this year’s event will showcase five bands. Gold Chisel (Cold Chisel tribute band) and Kiss Thiss (A Kiss tribute band) will be accompanied by three local bands, Keg, Top Secret and Drowning Sorrows.
