Free dips for locals

LOCALS can access the outdoor pool for free this weekend to assist them to beat the heat. 

With temperatures set to soar into the high 30s over the weekend, residents are reminded about the free pool passes available from Neighbourhood House.

The passes are part of the Beat The Heat initiative to help keep people cool and safe on extremely hot days.

To collect your pass simply call into Neighbourhood House at 98 Gray Street, Swan Hill. They are for use on any day exceeding 38 degrees.

The Bureau of Meteorology predicts three consecutive days over 38 degrees this week commencing on Saturday.

Multiple passes can be collected for subsequent hot days.
