SWAN Hill Rural City Council’s youth support programs, Youth Inc and Freeza, have put their hands up to be the major sponsors for the much-anticipated annual Colour Your Run event.
Using the event as another avenue for young people to get involved and give back to the community, Youth Inc will have a major presence on the day.
Council’s senior youth support officer, Kane Sparks, said Colour Your Run was a great community connection point for both young and old.
“We saw this event as not only supporting a worthy cause, but also as a way to inform the community about the services that are available for the youth in our region,” he said.
