DREADING the weekend? 

Ingrid Watson definitely isn’t — the Nyah West local is looking forward to liberating herself from her snaky dreadlocks at the Swan Hill Club this Sunday.

So far, the laidback 25-year-old hippie has raised $135 in cash donations and a further $1144 online reaching a total goal of $1500 which will go towards Nyah District and Lake Boga’s Men’s Sheds.

“I had my first stranger donate to my MyCause website [Wednesday], so far all the online donations have been friends and family — I’ve known all of them — so I’m excited to get a random use the website,” Ingrid said.

Both sheds have big plans for Ingrid’s money.

Nyah is planning to organise ongoing wellbeing sessions around men’s health, and Lake Boga is looking to upgrade their storage facilities with a shed or a container so that they can keep more wood and tools on hand.
