IN THE space of just five years, one Swan Hill local has gone from not being sure if she would survive to see her son start school to finishing a triathlon at Riverside Park.
Bowel cancer survivor Sarah Sutton was one of the many competitors who got out to take part in the inaugural Riverside Tri, something she never thought would be possible.
A visibly ecstatic Sutton was greeted by family and friends at the finish line, as she looks to mark five years since her diagnosis with her support networks next month.
