IT will cost $60,000 to repair Koondrook Barham’s home netball courts after it was revealed problems with their surface had emerged from a botched construction job six years ago.
Wakool Shire Council committed the cash at its February business meeting last week to fix cracking in the acrylic surface of two Barham Recreation Reserve courts, used for Koondrook Barham’s home Central Murray Football Netball League (CMFNL) matches.
The cracks began to appear in 2013 where line markings had been placed, three years after Wakool Shire contracted Australian Sporting Surfaces to build the courts.
