A great afternoon under the sun

ORGANISERS were very happy with how this year’s Swan Hill Food and Wine Festival panned out.

Turnout numbers weren’t available at the time of going to print yesterday, but festival chairwoman Jessica Warburton said it would have rivalled last year’s attendance.

“Everyone enjoyed a great afternoon on the banks of the river,” Ms Warburton said.

“All the stall-holders said they were very happy on the way out and were looking forward to coming back next year.”

Ms Warburton said the weather was warmer this year, but that didn’t stop people from coming out and enjoying the event, held by Swan Hill Inc.
