THE Swan Hill Regional Library community group Knit and Natter are holding their annual craft sale, with all proceeds going towards the Cancer Council.
Swan Hill Rural City Council manager of cultural development and libraries, Camille Cullinan, said the Knit and Natters were a fantastic social group which met in the library once a week.
“The fact that they are raising money for the cancer council helps to boost morale and spirit in the local community,” Ms Cullinan said.
“The money raised goes toward the library’s Biggest Morning Tea, which is held annually to help raise money for the Cancer Council.”
Already raising approximately $600, the Knit and Natter group hope to triple those funds before the Biggest Morning Tea event which will be held in May.
