TOOLEYBUC Central School’s centenary celebrations on the weekend received a greater turn-out than expected.

Around 550 people registered to attend the centenary event on Saturday afternoon, but reports suggested the crowds could have been more than that.

The Guardian’s Pamela Blackman took the photo above of siblings Sherrie Guy, Barbara Bishop and Stuart Guy, who made up one of the school’s many past families that attended the weekend’s centenary celebrations.

Grab a copy of Friday’s Guardian (April 8) for more on the festivities, with a whole feature lift-out dedicated to the school’s centenary.
