NATURAL gas is one step closer for Swan Hill with network construction to commence in 2016.
As part of the construction process, the distributor Brookfield Regional Networks and the natural gas retailer Tas Gas Retail, will host a community information session next week.
Project director Todd Henderson said the session would provide residents with information on the project, with the opportunity to ask questions and express interest in a connection.
“To ensure that your street gets connected to natural gas, we need residents to express interest for a natural gas connection as soon as possible, as streets that do not show interest may miss out,” Mr Henderson said.
“Regardless of if the pipeline is shown as passing or not passing their property, we encourage residents to register their interest as the rollout will be based on community demand.”
