CHINKAPOOK paid tribute to the men who enlisted to serve for Australia in World War I with the unveiling of a plaque on Anzac Day.

Chinkapook Cemetery Trust secretary Joan Vivian said the initiative was a way to pay tribute to the 22 men who enlisted at Chinkapook.

“It was a beautiful service and the amount of people who supported it was great,” she said.
