A SHEPPARTON woman has been remanded in custody after appearing in Swan Hill Magistrates’ Court in relation to three armed robberies committed across the state.
Tammy Phillips, 33, was charged this morning with three counts of armed robbery, and assault, theft of a motor vehicle and obtaining property by deception.
Phillips was arrested in Kerang at 6.30pm last night after allegedly committing an armed robbery and assault on King Edward Street, Cohuna earlier yesterday.
Police have alleged Phillips stole a woman’s purse and used her credit card to purchase items.
She has also been charged with the assault of an elderly woman during a car theft in St Albans on Sunday, as well as a theft at a convenience store in Melton.
The 87-year-old St Albans woman was allegedly assaulted and had her car stolen on St Albans Road about 4.50pm.
Phillips has been remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on September 14.
