SWAN Hill Highway Patrol has called on drivers to take care while approaching intersections along McCallum Street after a woman was transported to Royal Melbourne Hospital following Sunday afternoon’s car crash off of High Street.
The woman was a passenger in the vehicle which failed to give way as it entered into McCallum Street from High Street, hitting an oncoming vehicle travelling west along the former.
She was first conveyed to Swan Hill District Health along with a male and female from the other vehicle, before being taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital.
It is unclear what condition the woman is in, but the other two victims have been discharged from Swan Hill District Health.
The driver of the offending vehicle, who hasn’t been identified, was issued a penalty notice for failing to give way.
