Woman arrested after alleged attack

A 30-YEAR-OLD woman was arrested in relation to an alleged unprovoked attack on another woman at a licensed premises in Swan Hill during the early hours of Saturday.

The female was arrested on-site and charged with recklessly causing injury, unlawful assault and discharging a missile.

Swan Hill Police Detective Senior Constable Mal Simpson said the attack appeared to be unprovoked and the victim suffered injuries to the face which required medical treatment.

The 30-year-old was bailed to appear at the Swan Hill Magistrates’ Court on September 13 to answer the charges.
