A LAKE Boga player was reported for kicking an opponent at the weekend and is expected to face a tribunal hearing this week.
Central Murray league chair John Brookshaw was frustrated at the amount of recent offences being heard by tribunal hearings.
“This is so uncharacteristic of this league, usually is it fairly good and we have only had a few incidents over the past few years,” he told The Guardian.
“If I knew what was contributing to this, I would sort it out. We need to let everyone know this behaviour, in any way, is not tolerated and we are very disappointed.
“The league is really getting frustrated at this uncharacteristic behaviour.
“Everything else in the finals has been good, we have had good crowds and our weekend passes have been great.
A Lake Boga Colts player is still going through a conciliation process at the moment after racially vilifying another player.
Brookshaw said both the parties would sit down this week to strike a deal, which is set to see clubs partake in a Cultural Awareness Program before Christmas, run by Sports Ready’s Leon Egan.
