VOLUNTEERS make up the fibre of many small towns and Swan Hill is no exception.
For 76-year-old Judy Hayes, volunteering is just a way of life.
Mrs Hayes spent her life working for others with no expectation of reward other than the satisfaction of having helped others.
She currently travels 40 km from her home near Moulamein to Alcheringa to help residents with knitting projects and sing to them.
