SWAN Hill boxer Thomas Mitchell has won his third bout on the trot as he looks toward becoming the Victorian State Novice Champion this weekend.
The up and comer improved his record to 3-0 with a three round points decision victory over a south paw fighter, earning himself a spot in the title bout in just his first year as a fighter.
The middleweight (75kgs) was solid in his final two rounds, but told The Guardian he was given an early bout scare.
